गम ने हसने न दिया, ज़माने ने रोने न दिया!
इस उलझन ने चैन से जीने न दिया!
थक के जब सितारों से पनाह ली!
नींद आई तो तेरी याद ने सोने न दिया!
Gham ne hasne na diya, jamane ne rone na diya,
Is uljhan ne chain se jeene na diya,
Thak ke jab sitaaro se panaah lee,
Neend aayi to teri yaad ne sone na diya.
